These terms apply to purchases made through thegeneratorbox.com, operated by Microfab Company LLC (“we”, “us”), 339 Christian Street, Oxford, CT 06478. By placing an order you agree to them.
Products and pricing
The Generator Box is priced at $1,295 plus $150 flat-rate FedEx Ground shipping to the lower 48 states and Washington, DC. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is quoted separately — call (203) 267-1000 before ordering. Prices may change at any time, but the price shown when you place your order is the price you pay. Custom colors and custom sizes are quoted separately.
Product descriptions and fit
Dimensions and weights listed on this site are approximate and provided in good faith. The fit examples on our Fit Guide use manufacturers’ published generator dimensions, which can change by model year and with accessories such as wheel kits. It is the buyer’s responsibility to measure their own generator. We are glad to check fit before you order.
Orders and payment
Payment is taken in full at checkout through Stripe. Your order is accepted when we send an order confirmation. We may cancel and refund an order if the product is unavailable or if the listing contained an error.
Shipping and delivery
Orders ship within 5 business days. FedEx Ground delivery normally takes a further 5 to 10 business days. Tracking is emailed when your order ships. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. See Shipping & Returns for details.
Damage in transit
Inspect your package when it arrives. If the box looks damaged, take photographs of the damaged box before you open it and send them to us with your order number as soon as possible. If any panels are damaged in shipping, we will replace the damaged panels at no additional cost.
Returns
Returns are accepted as long as the package has not been opened. The customer pays for return shipping. To start a return, call (203) 267-1000 or email microfab@optonline.net with your order number.
Warranty
The Generator Box does not come with a written warranty. Our obligation is limited to replacing panels that are damaged in shipping, as described above. To the extent permitted by law, all implied warranties are disclaimed.
Safe use and limitation of liability
Portable generators produce carbon monoxide and must be run outdoors only, away from doors, windows and vents, with the side air windows open. Follow your generator manufacturer’s instructions, local codes and the guidance on our safety page. We are not liable for injury, death or property damage arising from the use or misuse of a generator or of this enclosure. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
